Travel Information for Our Wedding in Sweden

We’re so excited that you're joining us in Sweden for our special day! To make your travel planning as easy as possible, here’s everything you need to know about entering Sweden for our wedding:

Do I need a visa to travel to Sweden for the wedding?

No you do not :) You will however need an updated passport to travel.

Which airport should I fly into for the wedding?

We recommend Arlanda Airport (ARN), Stockholm's main international hub, offering quick and easy access to the city and our wedding venue.

I’m taking a connecting flight. Is there anything I should know?

If you're checking in bags, it's a good idea to allow extra time between flights to give your luggage a better chance of making the connection. Traveling with just a carry-on can help make the transition smoother!

What’s the easiest way to get from Arlanda Airport to the city, and can I buy tickets in advance?

Ubers, taxis and buses are available if you prefer flexibility. Alternatively, the Arlanda Express is also a quick and convenient option, taking you directly to central Stockholm in just 20 minutes. You can purchase tickets either in advance online or at the airport.

Where should I stay while in Stockholm for the wedding?

Stockholm offers a range of accommodations to suit every style, from boutique hotels in the city center to cozy Airbnb rentals near our venue. We’ll add a list of recommended hotels and areas for easy access to both the wedding events and the city's top attractions.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

More details to follow soon.

Will there be other activities planned around the wedding?

Yes, please join us in the Swedish countryside for our after wedding soirée, on Saturday, the 16th! More details to follow.

What’s the best way to get around Stockholm?

Stockholm’s public transit system is excellent, with convenient buses, trams, and the metro. You can buy an SL Access card at most stations or download the SL app for easy digital ticketing. You can also just use apple pay on your cell phone as you travel through the city via bus and the metro. Taxis and ride-sharing services are also widely available.

Are Kids Invited?

Yes! Kids are welcome ~ just let us know in advance. If you’d prefer a kid-free evening, we can help connect you with babysitters in Stockholm to arrange childcare.

What is the ground like at the venue?

The venue features a combination of grass, gravel, and natural terrain, so keep that in mind when choosing footwear.

What’s the dress code for the wedding?

Midsummers Night Dream Formal ~ Ethereal ~ Whimsical
